Dearest Dad. Words cannot express the sadness I have in my heart. Though I knew this day would come, I hoped and prayed it wouldn't come until later. It's never a good time. Dad, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving me and sacrificing for all of us the way you did. Thank you for all the times you helped me out with my car, my house, or whatever it was I needed. Thank you for your good, moral, loving, christian advice you gave me throughout my life. Thank you for accepting and loving my family unconditionally. Thank you for the wonderful memories that I have to cherish and to share with my children and future generations to come. Thank you for your love, hard work and dedication to mom, all 5 of us-your children, your 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. You left a great legacy dad and I hope and pray that all of us will continue that legacy in your honor and memory. Thank you for the wonderful time in Malta. I will cherish those 17 days always. No doubt, THE BEST and MOST MEMORABLE vacation for me! This is not goodbye dad because I know you remain with us in spirit. We are a part of you so you live on in each and everyone of us. As much as I hate the fact you are gone from this earth, I am thankful you are free from suffering and are at peace in the loving arms of Jesus. Until we meet again dad, I will miss you dearly. I look forward to our reunion and am counting on you to be there to welcome me home. I will love you for always and forever. Your loving daughter, Mary Ellen
Ed, Rita and Family; we are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you all find solace in your memories of your father.

Dear Stella and family-we are so sorry for your loss-- our mother, brothers and I remember fondly the early years on Maybury Grand when John lived with us for a time..We also remember that John sometimes stopped to say hello to mom after our father passed away...That ment a great deal to her.... His kindness will be remembered.
