Betsy- with love and prayers. It has been many years but I have many memories of your visits,Always fun and laughter. God bless you and your family, John was wonderful.
Dearest Betsy and all the Hannahs,
John was definitely one of our favorites in the Merced running community from the late '60s through early '80s. What a man! I was with him on many of his great runs and was always so proud of his achievements, especially when he worked as the "Bell Race" Chairman, along with my Janie and AF Capt. Randy Cagle. I still have running shirts featuring him which I wear proudly. All the MTC-ers loved him dearly.
I remembered him as Sargent Hannah. Growing up around the v st and 23rd area. We had a rope swing on bear creek. The city came and cut down our rope. Sargent Hannah gave us a rope to put back up. We did and the city cut down the branch. Nothing but good memories or Sargent Hannah he was a great mentor to the kids. I know I was one of them Lio Gardner
I remember John from many years ago growing up in Merced, as well as Betsy his wife. I believe they were good friends of my Mom, Naomi Koury, and my other relatives in Merced. My thoughts and prayers go out to Betsy and all of the Hannah Family members. May God give you peace and rest during this time.
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
