JOHN L KINSER 1938 - 2012

JOHN L KINSER

February 12, 2012
I have not had occasion to see John since our years together at Southeast High School. While we were in more than one class together during our years at Southeast, the moments I remember most fondly were the hours we spent together in physical education classes. In the matter of selecting teamates for the flag football we participated each day, it seemed to almost always occur that John and I wound up on the same team. He was a level headed good friend and a good flag football player. He had an easy air about him and seemed sensitive and aware of the feelings of others in our classes. He was a caring, kind and decent young man and I am sure evidenced those same qualities throughout his adult life. Each surviving family member, be that person a spouse, child, or grandchild, hopefully will find some comfort in these words about John's earlier life and, given John's character, rest in the knowledge that he performed his duties and responsibilities in a sensitive and caring manner and that, by his presence, he made the world a better place to live for those who had the good fortune of knowing him. God bless and comfort each of you and know that the sun will rise on another day and that each day henceforth John will live with you and through you.

Mae.......we are so sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. Altho we haven't seen him since he visited our home in '63, we still felt a kinship. Don, Howard, Johnny and others were best friends in high school. Our sincere sympathy to you and your family.

So many years have passed since we were highschool classmates. From a SE Spartan to another Spartan and a great American, 'Thank You' for your service to our country. Thank you Sally for informing me of the loss of John. I know he will be greatly missed by all of you and I know, after seeing all the wonderful photos, that there are lots of memories to cherish. God Bless you!
