Dana, I am sorry for your loss. I am so glad I knew Jack for the short time it was.

I will always remember you and Jack coming to the Gala planning meetings at the Longhouse. It was a thrill to know that I met and made "Duwamish" friends as my ancestors did when they arrived in June of 1851 on the Duwamish River and met Chief Seattle. I will cherish Jack's blanket chest and smile when I look at his picture at the auction in the Longhouse. I am proud to say you are my "Duwamish" friends forever...

Dana & Family,
We will always remember Jack as "Read your Bible Jack". His persistence in encouraging us to read the Bible and to not take for granted that we can freely read the Bible in this country will never be forgotten.
Our prayers go out to you and your family. He is missed.
In Christ's Love,

We will miss Jack's counsel at the Longhouse, but his generous spirit will always be with us.
My brother Jack was my "Rock". We had many hours of adventure together when we were little kids. He taught me how to fish and play baseball and what to look out for in the woods to stay safe and not get in the stinging Nettles or Devils Club. As we grew up I was proud to call Jack my brother. At George Dewey JR. High he was pitching and he pitched a perfect game! I was so proud and I didn't realize how hard I was screaming until afterwards, he told me I was wondering who was screaming so hard and when I looked around I saw you, my sister! He was always joking and we had lots of fun days together. I could go on for hours but you all would get tired of reading. lol So, I will miss you my dear Brother but I know your walking on Streets of Gold and have no more pain to deal with. I love you Jack, tell Jesus Hello for me and we will be together again some day not too far off. Your sister Mary Lou,
Chuck and I send our love and condolances to Dana and all the family. Sorry that we can't be there with you all on this special day. God Bless you all.
