Marcia and family I just wanted to pass along my condolences. I just heard about Joe passing away. I have not seen him or talked to him since the platoon had a get together about four years ago. Joe was a great Man taught me lots. He held my hand when times were tough for me and helped me through them, kicked my but when I screwed up and patted me on back when we did good. He was there for all of us. The Fortuna family was a HUGE part of COMMO Platoon you gave up allot for Joe to be with us. RIP Joe will see you when I get to Heaven.
Joe - It was about 38 years ago that I met you at the Copy Center. You gave me the opportunity to leave copier repair and get into word processing and eventually offered me the the job at Redactron. A wild few years there for sure! When not working together we had computer hobbies to help bide our time. Our camping trips and family get togethers will always be cherished. Thanks for the many years Joe and Marcia. For sticking by me in my tough times and accepting Kim into "our" family as well. You both made our wedding special. Joe - Thank you for the many times shared. Goodbye my friend!
Marcia and Family, it was wonderful to be welcomed into your home last Christmas and a privilege to have met Joe. May God comfort and guide you during this time of very deep loss.
Joe was a mentor to me since I relocated to Grand Rapids in 1994. He was always willing to help his fellow workers and left a lasting impression on my life-can I borrow some horseradish? Thank You Joe- You will be missed. To his family-I'm very sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
