Hello my name is Dana Goudreau, i lived in the Quad Cities for a short time when i was married to my wife Wilma L.Rios. I worked for Joe and his family for a short summer and enjoyed every moment of it. I like hearing the awesome river tail stories he used to tell and the adventures that the Celebration Belle used to take up and down the river and even go to tall stacks. I will miss you my friend and hope your in a better place and you will never be forgotten. So R.I.P angel of god fly high..
Joe's life was a great example of entrepreneurialship. He will be missed. God bless his family.
KIm, Scott and Kelly I am so sorry about your Dad. I had a dream about him on Monday night and could not believe when I read the paper the next morning I know he is Heaven. He was a great friend and a great person to work for.. Remember when he started his advertising business in my basement. I will truly miss him Love to all of you.
A lot of memories came flooding back when I read about Joe's death in the newspaper. These are good memories, growing up memories. I worked for Joe on the Queen of Hearts for the first two seasons. Lots of fun and hard word mixed in. Thank you Joe and the Schadler family. Sincerely Andy Johnson
Joe Schadler will be missed by everyone who enjoys the Mississippi River. We enjoyed so many wonderful trips on the Celebration Belle locally and to Dubuque. His excellent food and great personality was a delight. We hope upon arrival in Heaven to find Joe waiting with his cinnamon rolls.
