My heart felt condolences go out to Juan's family at this most difficult time I served with Juan in the Marine Corps so sorry for your loss. Richard Mereness
St Paul Minnesota
To the family of Cpl. Juan Ruiz,
My deepest condolences to the Ruiz family. Juan and I served together in the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton for nearly 3 years. He was a true American hero and I was proud to be his friend. His presence here will be missed, but I know he is now guarding the gates to heaven. Rest in Peace brother.
Ana, Nell and Art,
It's always difficult to know what to say at a time like this, except that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Art and Nell, Kay and I are so sorry to hear about Juan. It almost seems like yesterday that he was playing on the tanker trucks at our Exxon picnics. We will keep y'all in our prayers.
It is with a heavy heart that the news of Juan's passing reached our home. But we pray that his love for his family is what will be kept in their hearts from this moment on. Our prayers go out for Juan and all whom he has left behind. As a side note, I will always remember him as "Toro" rather than "Juan" because of my memories of his childhood in Charenton.
