Sybil and Brentley-Phyllis just sent me the notice that your mom passed away, I was sadden by her passing but knew that her health was not the best. I will never forget her and the special times that we had when I was in school with her at Lanier(the pictures from Alaska and her special boots that she wore), the times that we spent with each other during the family reunions and when you and your mom came through Los Angeles and we spent that layover just visiting(and waving to the UT fans going to the game that day). She always made me feel special in the family and I know that she will be missed by so many. I will remember her always and the special times that we had together that will keep her in my heart and soul forever. Love to both of you

I was so sad to hear of Mrs Bryant passing, she was the best teacher I ever had.She told me I needed to leave Tennessee to make a better life for myself and she was so right,I was so happy to be able to tell her that at the school reunion a few years back,I will always be thank full for her direction and incourgement.I know she helped a lot of us make good decisions.

Inez Burns and Katherine were great friends. Several times I took Inez to see her. As soon as we got there Katherine would start trying to feed us. Always a good time. I visited her at Colonial, but not since them. With sincere sympathy. Lorene Smith
