I only new her as Miss Ritterspacher, my PE teacher at West Valley High in Yakima. I live now in Kennewick and saw the obit and had fond memories of a demanding but FUN teacher. It's sad that she is gone, but what a successful career! Vickie (Bliss) Moon

Little did I know when I met you as my P.E. teacher in 1967, that you would become my lifelong friend and confidante. Oh the memories we shared. You came in the middle of the night to take care of Katie the night Adam was born. Our celebrations of St. Patrick's Day were epic. Your 50th birthday limousine party. Our retirement parties. Our two hour phone conversations. Always there for me with such joy, such sage advice, and so much laughter. Your philosophy about education inspired so many of us. It will always be "You and me against the world". Thank you for last 50 years of friendship!

Pache: it is hard to sum up our friendship in just a few sentences. I came to know you as a neighbor, but you became a friend. A confidante. A listener. And would offer advice if asked. Your door was ALWAYS open to me, and you ALWAYS had a smile on your face no matter how you felt. Through Chester and Gizmo...... we laughed, we cried. I am so happy you got to meet Lucy Lu. I am forever happy that I started hugging you and telling you I love you before departing your house. You will forever be in my heart. You had no idea how very much you meant to me. I will always miss you, but will think of you and your kind heart with a smile.

Pache, I will forever miss our daily chat with a glass of wine and laughter. I wished I could have been with you when you left. I always thought I would be. Fly with the eagles my friend. Punkie
