Sorry to hear about your mother's death. Your cousin Carol Brooks told me about her passing. I met your mother when she came to the radio station to claim prizes that your daddy won. It was a pleasure to meet her.

We were saddened to hear of the death of Kathryn. She was such a strong and gentle lady. How blessed you are with such precious memories of such a precious lady. May God's comfort and strength be with you in this loss.

It is not easy to put into words your thoughts about someone as gracious, kind, thoughtful and caring as Kathryn. As her pastor for almost a decade and friend for over four decades, Kathryn and Walter Brown have been in my families hearts and prayers consistently. We have scores of wonderful memories to call on even now. She was, as written in the paper, a living example of the Proverbs 31 wife and mother. Her legacy will live on for years to come in the lives of her family and all who knew her.
Ronnie and Tommy, you and your families were her constant help in her time of need; your love was evident in your care of your loving mother.
"Well done good and faithful servant" are the words I like to believe she heard when she closed her eyes here for the last time, and met the Saviour, face to face.
