Jeanette and family ~ It brings me great sadness to just find out about the man you called husband, dad, and grandpa! Larry was truly blessed with an abundance of gifts. He had a loving and compassionate heart! He was a dear friend and co-worker at St Catherine's. I will forever remember his beautiful smile, singing voice, bear hugs and all the times he was present for me....he was an awesome servant of God and I will miss him dearly! Please know that I will hold you all in my prayers. His legacy will live on through each and every one of you!
Larry was a very special friend to me during my own illness and also when Paul was seriously ill. He was always ready to help you even when he did not feel well himself. He counseled me through some really difficult times with my brain damage and memory problems. He will always have a special place in heart and I know he will be my angel watching over me.
Larry was my daughter Angela's teacher when she prepared for confirmation. Years later he baptized her sons. We are forever grateful for his service. We are blessed to have known him and send condolences to his family. Sincerely,
Larry and I were members of the 249th MSB in the 49th Armored Division together. He was a great man and a great leader. He always stuck up for his troops making sure they were cared for properly. I hate that after retirement we went in different directions and that I lost touch with him. May God bless your family during this trying time but WE will see him again soon.
Larry and I worked together for many years at IBM. We shared so many stories of our military service, hunting, fishing, and our children. Peace be with you my Brother.
