I didn't get a chance to say goodbye, nor did you ever let me know if you were in bad health, but I suppose you didn't want me to know. I'm so lucky to have met you, and I know your soul will still be with us still at Cracker Barrel. Please watch over us and stay in my heart forever. I will miss you but never ever forget you. <3

To the family of Skeebo. I first met him through one of his coffee buddies, my father. The times I saw him he was always such a treat to be around.
He had such a great time telling my son a few years ago when we visited the coffee buddies, what his first name was and that he didn't want to be called by that name because it was a girls name. My son was so engrossed and delighted with the secret, that as we left that day he announced (quite loudly) Bye, Laurin. My son was son tickled as Skeebo acted upset with a twinkle in his eye and a wink.
Skeebo will be missed by all whose lives he touch. I am so thankful that my life has been blessed with knowing him.
God bless and keep all of you in his arms through this time.

You won't know me, but I was privileged to be a friend of "Skeebo" for over 50 years, meeting him through work at Western Electric Co. This was when AC Corp. was located in the ORD area for a number of years. I still remember "Skeebo" leaving the Burlington plant and playing the "Dukes of Hazard" tune on a horn-like device he had in his truck! ( Anything to put a smile on your face!) I know you will miss him terribly...he was truly a special person.
