Hi Louise, I was at the Memorial on Saturday. Your boys did a fantastic job speaking about Larry. I know Larry would of been proud and I am sure is comforted that they will be there to help and support you.
Dad, I love you and already miss you more than words can describe. You were my father, my councillor, my accountant, my banker, my taxi driver, my ball coach, my sounding board, but most importantly, my friend, my best man. As the song Thank You says, you never left my side even when I fell behind. I hope what they say about time healing all wounds is true, because this is tough. I am honoured to be able to call myself your son and to carry on your name.
The one thing that i will always remember is Larry's great laugh!
I loved the way Larry's eye twinkled whenever he spoke of his family
Today I was privileged to have attended one of the most moving and meaningful memorial services I've ever witnessed. I hadn't fully realized what a very special family Larry and Louise had produced. R.I.P. Larry.
