Lt. Col. Leiland M. Duke Jr
Dear Betty, Lisa, Beth, Katherine:
I am shocked and saddened to learn of the recent sudden passing of Leiland. He always had a smile, a cheery word. He was very much a "can-do" man, generously giving his time to the church (just like you, Betty and Lisa). God bless each of you during this challenging time. My thoughts and prayers remain with you.
Dear Betty, I was looking through Facebook and came across the news of Leiland's death. I am so sorry, dear firend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls and families at this difficult time. Love always, Terry
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls during this difficult! Time. So glad you were together when god took Leland home! He was a wonderful man and what a comfort to know he lives on in others!
Words cannot express my sadness and shock. when I heard of Leiland's passing. He has done so much for me over that last 7 years and been a huge inspiration and father figure in my life. My prayers and sympathy to you and your family. I would like you to know that last night I played Bach's Brandenburg concerto #2 and the performance was dedicated in his memory. I take peace knowing he is resting with The Lord and look forward to the day I see him again. God Bless him, you and your family.
Dear Betty, Seems just like yesterday we were your enjoying hospitality and graciousness. What a shock when Reid told us the news. It was an honor and privilege to have met and talked with Leiland. Reid has told us so much about you both. I'm glad we got the opportunity to have met him. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Heaven's gain is the world's loss.
