Thank God for allowing you and me to be best friends for 80 years!
It's rare to have a friendship that long. To think of all the fun times, we had, from elementary school through the senior years and all the great years both you and I had with Jan and Sandy
I'm thankful for that and your friendship!
To the Sheperd Family and Loved Ones,
I am so sorry for your loss. Being Bruce and Sandy's daughters, Judy and I have known Leon our entire lives. We're so happy that we shared so many happy occasions with him. He was a funny, gentle and loving friend. Sincerely, Susan Stern Ringel
Emily, Reuben and Justin,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. He was such a great guy and I have so many fond memories of him. He used to make me laugh from the time I was your family's "summer girl" when you were 6, 4 & 2 into later years when we would talk from time to time. Your Dad was always so kind to me. I am thinking of you and wishing you strength in the difficult days ahead.
I was so shocked to hear about Lee yesterday. I have known him since I was a little girl, and saw him more often over the past few years. I knew that whatever frame of mind I was in when I saw him, it would always be better after a visit. He held an audience captive. He made people laugh, the best medicine of all. Say hi to my Dad up in heaven Lee. I'm sure you guys have the ZBT card games already.
