Leroy and Ione were friends with my mother, Ruby Skidmore Fancett, and Leroy and his family lived in my grandfather's lumber camp (Christy Skidmore) near Newberry, during the 1940s. May Ione and Leroy rest in peace!
I remember going out to visit you in the summers definitely good times growing up you will be missed by many give grandma a hug for me love ya
Leroy and Iona were our neighbors when I was a young girl living in Columbia Center. He was one of a kind. Always a smile on his face. Kind of made you wonder what he was up to. Over the last years, I would run in to Leroy all over Pataskala. He was always cracking jokes. Makes me smile thinking about him.
Still got the $20.00 bill you gave me a mom's birthday party.
You'll be missed
God bless you Leroy. I pray you are walking with all the family that has passed before you. thanks for the driving lessons behind the house at spring hill. and all the excitement you brought to us all when you came up to visit and we got to see the newest cars and you and iona's smiling faces.
