As President of Trinity and later in Boston I found Lew to be a thoughtful , creative and spirited friend and mentor who was witty and kind .

Mr. Dabney taught me so much in the short time that I worked with him. I was very sad to hear of his passing. May his memory and spirit continue to be a beacon of light to all who knew him.

Dear Fay, Lew - charming, witty and a great raconteur - will be missed in so many circles! We met when I ran the Yankee NYC office. He provided sophistication, wisdom (and delightfully racy jokes) at the sales meetings. Simply don't make 'em like Lew anymore, more's the pity. My sincere sympathy to you and his family and loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss. It was my honor to have taken care of Lewi, his great stories and piano playing kept ME entertained. I am sure that your wonderful memories will keep him alive in your heart.
