I have fond memories growing up with Linda in Birmingham and visiting the cottage many times with her parents and1st dog Duke. We explored everywhere & everything together, walking miles until her mom rang the bell for lunch or dinner. She was a great friend. Our elementary principal called us "the Bobsie Twins as we were always together. I am saddened by the loss. Kay Kelly

Each of us who have known Linda realize we have lost an incredible woman. I was a student of Linda's many years ago and then had the pleasure of teaching with her at MSU. Her love of students, her dedication to nursing, and her love and respect for the healing abilities of our animal friends taught many of us to see life with clearer vision! Move on in peace, Linda.

I was very saddened to learn of Linda's passing. We first met when I worked in Pediatrics at Ingham Medical in the 1970s and she brought her undergrad students through. We became reacquainted when I returned to MSU for my MSN and I asked her to be on my thesis committee. I always found her to be friendly, compassionate and a wonderful advocate for her patients and their families. She will be missed by all.

What wonderful memories I have of Linda as she visited her cottage in Point Clark. Her Canadian friends will all miss her humour, humility and passion for her dogs.Rest in Peace my friend.
