It was an honor to work with L. J. He was a unique individual, full of energy and always ready to help. He was indeed a true and compassionate gentleman.
L.J. was as kind and gentle a man as I have known. We each got a kick out of greeting each other with `Hello Neighbor!' and would then talk about the news of the day. You are missed L.J. - but we will meet again one day - Neighbor.
Remembering so many memories when we worked with you at Lawndale, you will be greatly missed.

What a pleasure in was working with L.J. Always the gentleman, L.J. always gave of himself above and beyond to the families he served. On the lighter side, it was always more fun to watch L.J. watch a football game, back in the dorm than to watch the game itself, he got quite excited. Rest in peace, my friend.
Were it not for professionals like LJ I would not have had the success I have had in Funeral Service. He mentored me when I was a student, apprentice and finally as a licensed funeral director & embalmer. I once told him him the same when we both were much older over lunch one day. He will be missed.Foster Cook
