I cannot fully express what a beautiful, brave and inspirational woman Granny B. was. So many lessons in caring, justice and creativity came from her to all her knew her. She believed in sustainably produced wooly clothing before it was hip and butter before we knew it was better than margarine anyway. Granny B. taught me to value what was real and true. My condolences to everyone there who loved her, was loved and raised by her. Instead of flowers, I've made a donation to her beloved NPR to support their work in her name. Much love, Mary-Helen
Dave, Sherry and family - Please accept my condolences of the loss of your mother. What a wonderful tribute to a great lady. I'd like to think that my mom "Soch" was there to greet her and they are reminiscing to their hearts' content.
“Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” ~Author Unknown
Dave, Sherry, Lindsey, Justin and the entire Busbee family:
I was sad to learn about your mothers passing and wanted to let you know we are thinking about you. No words can eliminate the pain you feel…but know you are not alone. I pray that God provides you with the peace and comfort to see you through this difficult time.
"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going."
What a nice obituary and so fitting to a wonderful lady who I remember as one who kept me laughing when I was around her. It's been a few years since I got to visit with her, but I can see her kind and understanding smile when I think of her. Margaret, Jim and family may the memories you have of this special lady be with you until you see her again. Love, Lloyd and Regina (Sowell) Prescott
