To the family of Lon Baughman
I met Lon when we were teenagers. I see by the wonderful tribute in the paper the kid with the eyes the color of the sky or as my grandmother said about him Paul Newman eyes became a honorable great man. He was the kind of man who visited my cousin Nick who was battleing cancer to let him know he cared and after we lost him Lon visited my Aunt and Uncle to comfort them in thier grief. I was honered to know him. With my heartfelt thoughts and sympathy to his family.

I was honered to serve in the 737th with Lonnie as my platoon sgt. He always kept us going even when we didn't want to.A stickler for performance but the first to "let down his hair" so to speak. He will be missed by all.
