We have lived across the lake from your Dad for the past 11 years and loved visiting with him when he was out in his boat. He taught my husband a lot about fishing Lake LBJ. We have missed seeing him for the past year or so and were talking about him this weekend when we were up at the lake, wondering how he was and then we saw the obituary. We enjoyed his wonderful spirit and know you must have great memories. We wanted you to know we will miss him. Barbara and Dick Pearce, across the lake neighbors.
Thank you Cy for wonderful memories over the years. You were always so kind and generous to all of Sharon and Doug's friends over the decades. All of us will miss your smiling face and your great stories. Thank you for making all of us feel welcome in your home. Sharon, Doug, Colby, Kristen and Caden carry on your loving spirit! Judy Feller
Without you Sharon, and your dear mom and dad, our 1958 wedding would not be recorded on film. Sharon, as flower girl, you were so cute spreading red rose petals down the aisle in front of me. Skip was so proud of you while Cy filmed the entire wedding. They, and you, my namesake, made our wedding special. We remember Cy and Skip with much love. Our prayers are with you all. Your Dad was such a treasure and I loved him to pieces. He was such a sweet, patient man and was always so wonderful to your precious Mom and to you. I loved the times that we spent with you and your parents when I was growing up and remember the fun on the lake also for the annual picnics. You told me at Christmas that he had cancer and I hope that he did not suffer. I know that Skippy and my Dad were both glad to see him when he came home.
Love to you and Doug and Colby and Kristen and your little grand,
Cherry Larson Cunningham
Thank you, Cy, for yor service to our country.
