Thank you family and friends...for all your prayers, thoughtfulness and support.
My dad was specific about not having a wake or funeral, but just a Memorial Mass after a week. Apologies for not planning that enough in advance to advertise it for this past Saturday at OLGC. Many more people wanted to and would have been there had they known. Still, it was a wonderful Mass with family participation. Seeing Eric Jr. altar serve again, mentoring his little sister as Alianna altar served for the first time with Eric Jr.'s help, was so heartwarming! Of course, Garrett and Jessica sang together as they have for so many years, honoring their Pop-pop for all the years he drove them in and out of NY to the MET and seeing them in the Operas.
Sharing so many people's memories of my dad is a reminder of his legacy and impact on everyone who encountered him throughout his life. He was generous to a fault at times and loved sports, especially baseball and coaching in his younger years. Fond memories of friends who played baseball during his time have made me proud of him.
A wonderful gathering here at my house was a great celebration, with a DVD my sister put together commemorating the years of his life.
Thanks again from all of us, especially mom, for helping through this difficult loss.
Love, Anna & Ed and family xo

Dear Aunt Natalie and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Uncle Louie's passing. May it bring you comfort knowing he's in a better place, free from suffering, and finally at peace. I'll bet he's up there right now with Uncle Sonny and Uncle Angelo telling jokes and playing cards.
All my love to you and your family

Lucy

Dear Natalie and family,

How very sorry I was to read that Lou passed away - my heart goes out to the whole family. He is probably already up there with Bob trying to figure out how to golf or start up a baseball team - lol. May your memories help you through this difficult time, along with the love and prayers of your family and friends. Angie Mahan
