Lu was love and laughter personified! When in her presence, she made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Knowing her was a great privelege, and I'll also be grateful for the special gift of friendship with her daughter, Sari, and son, Hank.

My condolences to the entire Asher family.

Your gracious mother was a friend and confidant to our family all throughout my life. I remember Charlie staying with us in 1968 during her surgery and I remember all the support from your family during Bob's early illness. The bond between our families has sustained all of us in difficult times. It is with great fondness and nostalgia that I remember all of you and your adorable mom. My mother loved her very much, as did my brother. Good karma to you in the future

Lu had such a wonderful sense of humor. I enjoyed our conversations at First Unitarian Church of Hobart. She did so much with her life and touched so many hearts.
