To All the Van Dyke Family and especially
To Joane and Bryan,
Dear Joane and Bryan.
Your Dad and Mom had been friends of our family since the days of the Notre Dame Kansas City Club. A special memory was when my Dad passed away and your Mom and Dad came running in when we were leaving the funeral home and told us they had just seen it in the paper and they jumped out of bed to dress and come to McGilleys. I will never forget that and that is an example of how special and loving your parents were.
A fun time was when there was a contest at an Organization Dinner and there was a dancing contest and elimination was by the number of years married. Of course, your Mom and Dad won. It was a standing ovation they received.
The Ceremony for your Dad was beautiful and lovely and we know you all miss him and your Mom.
Peace and Love to You All.

To all of the Van Dykes, I am sorry to hear about your father's passing. He was a wonderful godfather. I remember his calls to find out how the Metzler family was doing and will miss him greatly. I will keep him in my prayers.
