I served under General Kelly as a major in the late 70's and have nothing but the warmest, fondest memories of him--thoughtful, sincere, straight forward, fair and of absolutely highest character. And a heck of a racketball player! General Kelly was a model leader, a great example for all of us to follow. Thank you, General Kelly, may you rest in peace. Tadahiko Ono, Colonel, US Army, Retired.

So very saddened by the loss of a wonderful man who served his God, his country, his family and his friends so well. I am very thankful that I was able to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Kelly and their family just a few weeks ago and understand why he was so loved and admired by everyone who knew him. Please accept our sympathy and love and know that you are in our prayers.
