My Aunt Mamie:
She was my second Mom. She always had a wonderful way to let me know I was so special to her. Never had anything but loving words to say. She was kind, loving and always so happy to spend time with us. I had precious time with her, but always thought she would be there. I know she is happy in heaven with Uncle Harden, my Mom and Dad and all of her family. I will miss her so much, but, she will always be such a special part of my life. As was said-- when she was born they broke the mold. There will never be anyone else like her. Rest in Peace in Heaven. I love you.

I've known Mamie since I was a very little girl. My mother worked for her and Hardin at the R A Cleaners for years when I was growing up.
She was always so sweet and kind. Recently, my sisters and I went down to South Phoenix to visit with Mamie. She was in fine form and we had such a nice time talking about old times. She was so full of life and seemed so happy. I am so pleased that I was able to see her that one last time. She was a fine lady and a good mother and I know how much the family will miss her.
