Jim - I am saddened by the news of Margaret's death. You would remember me as the little neighbor girl, Sandy VanSkiver, from the Ten Mile. I have many fond memories of both of you. I thought Margaret was just about the most beautiful woman I had ever seen! I always remember her cooking food up for "Henry", the chickadee that used to come to the kitchen window, waiting to be fed. I loved listening to her sing and play the piano. May God bless you and comfort you in you loss.
I just learned of your wife's passing. A true joy has left us. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Margaret was a wonderful and giving Christian woman. What a darling personality! I will miss her wit, her talents, and her wisdom. I know she is face to face with her Lord and Savior, and is singing with the angels. We will meet again, sweet friend.
Jim, Leslie and I just learned about Margaret's passing! We've prayed each evening for you and Margaret over these many years. You will remain in our prayers as she is in the wonderful hands of Almighty God and blessed to be in the immediate presence of Jesus, where the Light of His Countenance never dies out. Margaret was such a wonderful, gifted and devoted Christian given to service through singing from her heart in choirs these many years. We've treasured her friendship, and gifts and skills she brought to the choral experience and to the fellowship so necessary for a choir to truly sing in harmony. Jim, here is a prayer for Margaret.
Margaret be received by the Choir of Angels and welcomed by Lazarus, once a poor beggar, into the Holy City, Jerusalem, City of Peace. May the endless praise of the saints immortal, Margaret now a part of them, bless her beyond earthly measure and may she find rest complete with our Heavenly Father. Lord, bless Jim, and their family, especially the grandchildren whom Margaret loved so deeply and in whom Margaret found so much JOY! Amen
Margaret, till we meet again at Jesus' feet, you and Jim will continue to be our thoughts and thanksgivings!!! Amen.
A beautiful lady of faith, lover of great traditions, now home with the Lord.
