My sincere regrets at Marvin's passing. We were neighbors and playmates for many years in Miami, and I always liked him personally and envied his athletic prowess.
We had a delightful 1.5 hour telephone conversation several years ago when he called me out of the blue after 50 years.
Please accept my condolences for your loss; I read that he was to be buried at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church, Walton Co., GA. I, too, have relatives buried there dating back to the 1830's or so. And I am wondering if we are related: my grandfather's sister, Lula Forrester, married Stephen Wilson Garrett (both are buried at Shiloh) and in the 1910 and 1930 US Federal Census, they have a daughter Mary L. Garrett. Again, please accept my smypathies for your loss. I'll be at this cemetery in Oct. for a dedication ceremomy for my G, grandfather. I'll look up your parents and say a prayer for all.
I was saddened to learn upon my return from vacation of Marvin's passing.
Although our paths had not crossed for several years I remember him fondly as a very able attorney.
I am sorry to learn the passing of Mr Schiller, I had the honor of being on of his nurses in the home, he was always very nice to talk with. Jeffery did an awesome job with him. RIP, prayers to the family
