Monnie, Frances, Tully, and Ashley,
I loved Mary--so many memories, especially as a little girl, growing up, receiving packages from her on my birthdays and at Christmastime, from the different cities in which she lived before settling in NC for a time, where you were born, Frances. When you and your Mother moved back to her hometown, she once stated that she was glad she was back in time to nurse both her Mom and Dad in their later years.
I enjoyed the pictures and video celebrating Mary's life--my crying time.
I'm a first-cousin on Mary's Mother's side--my Aunt Floy, "Tot," as she was often called. That's me now--I can only walk using a rollator (walker).
Monnie, once again, memories! I love you and know you will be lonely without Mary. Call me sometime.

Praying for all of you....
Frances, Evelyn and I have many remembrances of your mother and you when you lived in Aberdeen, NC. Thank you for letting us know about her.

Frances, Tully and Ashley, I dearly loved Mary Grace and shall always remember her for having such a calm and peaceful spirit. Never did Mary Grace ever say an unkind word about anyone. The self-confidence she had and inner strength would have made her an outstanding physician. She will be missed but never forgotten. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Mary Grace, your dear loved one. Anita Gayle Kerns, Germantown, TN
Thank you, God, for sharing such a wonderful lady with us. What a blessing in my life to have known her. To be in her quiet presence was just joyful. I will always remember "Ms. Allen."
