Mary Lou was a dear friend of my mother, Terri. They met as cancer patients and survivors at Beth Israel and were founding members of an irreverent bunch of ladies known as the Tumor Humor group! I will always remember Mary Lou as an elegant, lovely lady with a wicked sense of humor. I am sure she and my mother are up there somewhere making hell together again! Sending good thoughts and many sympathies to her entire family.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.

MaryLou was my Father, Bob Greenhood's cousin. I always had so much fun just seeing her. Always so a strong person, loving & kind.

She will be greatly missed.

Mary Lou was a dear friend to my mom (Sarah) and her cousin (Bev) for many, many years. She always had an easy laugh and managed to keep her wonderful sense of humor even during her breast cancer treatment; she exuded graciousness, and exemplified class. She will be greatly missed.
May she charm one and all in Gan Eden and may her Neshama have an Aliyah in the World to Come. May her memory always be for a blessing to her family and friends.

Happy Birthday MaryLou:
I have known you and your kids since childhood. You are my mother's dearest friend, and to me like an aunt. While our lives took us to different places for many years, we were able to rekindle our friendship only living a few miles away from each other in Brookline. Then it began--dinner club, house/cat sitting, sharing our periodontist stories. You signed my katubah, you were there for Joe when the hospital wouldn't let him stay over after Lucas was born. You were here for all our major life events. I will miss you so much, but am left with an overwhelming feeling to live, love, laugh as you did so gracefully, and graciously. All my love to you and my wonderful cousins/adopted siblings:Marcie, Maury, Michael, Mark, Deni, Shari and of course, Samantha! Judy Libman Muratore
