Mary Kay was a kind and gentle soul who was our neighbor for a while. Her daughter and my eldest son went to preschool together so we knew each other through our children first. She was a brave women who fought cancer with positiveness and won for many many years. We will remember her always and wish her family peace. Love the Weinsteins
Mary Kay and I were friends from the University of Illinois. There was a big group of us from our dorm and she was one of the leaders. I will never forget the time that a bunch of us were trying to sneak into football stadium "after hours." We got busted and somberly climbed down from the ledge, one by one. The atmosphere was extremely tense. As Mary Kay came down, she cheerily said: "Good evening, Officer" and cut right through all that tension. Her charm and humor came through for us. That was Mary Kay for you.
Mary Kay was one of my favorite people in this entire world. One of the most loving, giving people I ever knew. I will miss her every day.
I have known Mary Kay for the past 15 Years, we were both Cancer survivors.I am so so sad she lost her fight. She was a very kind friend. My condolences to her family. Even though she is gone from your daily life in person, she will always be with you in your hearts and thoughts. Keep talking to her. She hears you.
Mary Kay was a friend to all and had the kindest most loving heart. I will miss her shining smile, sweet way, and bright eyes. When she walked into a room it instantly lit up and she sparkled. She never met a stranger and treasured her many friends, and loved her animals. I will miss her kindness, friendship, and know she is watching over us all. Rest in peace dear friend.
