Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Dr. Delmer was known as a fair man and deeply respected by those who knew him at the Baptist Hospital. I have many great memories of him.

Dear Mary Ann, Robin, Lisa, Sam, Susie and John and Delmer Family, -
I am very sorry to hear of Merle's passing and offer my sincere condolences. Besides our long personal relationship we were all so interconnected in San Antonio. Before I even met Robin at Keystone, Merle had signed my father's Texas Medical license. I will not forget what kind words, encouragement and respect he had not only for my father but also all the Cuban doctors who had fled the Cuban revolution and settled in Texas to restart their careers and their lives. I have fond memories of Merle in the late 70's standing in the kitchen of the house on Olmos after work, shirt rolled up, bifocals at the end of his nose, pens and things in his pockets - giving Robin and I that classic Merle fatherly advice. I am so sorry.
