I am heartbroken. Dr. Silver was such a light in his student's lives. He was my advisor in my program. He was more than an advisor he was a friend. His smile and his encouraging words I know got me through the program. He attended my wedding the year I graduated. I remember coming into the church and one of the first faces I saw was his smiling face. I am so sorry for his family and send my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Beverley and family: I did not know Michael well but I had tremendous respect for him. His death is a great loss to our profession. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Dear Sabina, Beverley and the rest of your family, I'm so sorry to hear of your father and husband's death. You may remember me from elementary school and middle school Sabina. I recently became reacquainted with you father when he interviewed me for the EDLR program at Seattle U, and as a faculty member there. I remember during my interview Sabina, he proudly told me that he became a grandfather again. He was a very kind-hearted man and a wonderful educator. Although I can't imagine the depth of your sorry, know that I am holding you, and the memory of Michael close in prayer.
Beverley and family. . .so very sorry to learn of Michael's far-too-early passing.
It was with great sadness that we heard about Michael's passing. We will always remember seeing Michael and Beverley walking past our house and always saying "Hi". Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss.
