I met Mike at my own mother's visitation in December 2009, the late Beth (Niffenegger) Anderson. It was such a comfort to me to meet all these people who knew & loved my mother. I only wish I could have returned the favor & paid my respects to his family in their time of grief. I was saddened to hear of Mike's passing, but I wish his family peace & love during this hard time.

Mike was a great friend and one of a kind. You could always rely on him and when he was around you knew everything would always be fine. As time went on our paths did not cross as often as I would like, but when I did see him there was never a need to get reacquainted. He was always Mike and great, great guy. I will miss him dearly.

Really enjoyed meeting and being with Mike and his family the few times they came to Iowa. Losing a first cousin is never easy. Our thoughts and love go out to his family and to Uncle Freddie.

Mike was the kind of friend to us thats hard to find. Allways calm and thoughtful, helpful and fun to be around. Personally, there is an empty spot in our circle of friends that will take time to heal. We will think of you often, with a fond memory of a great friend! Our prayers and favors go out to his family, we are greatful to you all forever.
