Mildred will always be remembered as a Woman with a heart of gold and a spine of steel.... She is the kind of woman that every little girl should strive to be. It was a gift to know her and a treasure that my children got to know her and be loved by her.

Mrs. Lynch was my first grade teach some 40 years ago at West Haven but I always remember her with the fondest memories, she made me love education by treating all her students special. She was the greatest teacher ever!
