Mildred J. (Mickey) Streby
Mickey was one of my very favorite teachers. She was a warm, sweet, kind and beautiful woman and will truly be missed.
Mrs. Streby was my first grade teacher at Pierce Elementary school. I am so sad she passed away. She was my favorite teacher. She was always warm and spoke with kind words. She always had a smile on her face and I never heard her ever raise her voice or ever appear to be upset. She lived in my neighborhood when I lived on Mountain Ave. and my family and I would often see her walking and we always spoke with her. Years later I became an elementary teacher and taught at Pierce. I remember walking into the same classroom she taught me in and always felt a good feeling. I am currently an Early childhood Professor at Mott Community College and I often speak about all the good memories of her being my favorite teacher to the students I teach. I will always remember her and prayers to the family.
Kim and family:
I never meet your mother-in-law, but for what I read in the guest book, she was a wonderful person and a great grandma that the children will miss deeply. Love in this sad times, Marta, Omid, Arezu and Massoud
