We were saddened when we recently learned of Strawberry Jack's passing. The short time we knew him we grew to love him. So kind, so patriotic, such a gentleman and good friend! Our prayers for comfort are for you, his family.
To the Alford Family, I am so deeply sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember Jack, he was Area 11 Alford to me. I have very fond memories of those days here at SRP. I can see him standing in front of the old field office and the zanjero tract house that he lived in next door.
It is with deepest sorrow I hear of Jack's passing. He married one of the greatest ladies in the world who unfortunately passed to early in life! They are now together; a true blessing. I'll always remember Jack as the Prince among Men! Our most sincere condolences to all the family.

Jim and I are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Losing your Father is difficult regardless of age or illness. We do have a fond memory of "Papa Jack" arriving at David's Birthday party in his new sports car. I think he would have been around 80 years old at the time. Incredible. David, you and your wonderful family are in our hearts and prayers at this difficult time. Jim and Robin Parry
