Dear Ellen,Barbara,and Michael,
My deepest sympathy to you and your families . I worked with your mom for many years at The Rhode Island Blood Center from the very start in 1979. She was a wonderful lady , she worked very hard , and she was a lot of fun to be with every day . I have great memories of her and I will keep all of you in my prayers.
Respectfully, Barbara A. Martino
Dear Ellen, Michael and Barbara,
This a very difficult time for all of you and your families and also for all of us who loved Mimi so much. I first met Mimi at RIBC in 1980. Mimi was my mentor and my trainer and that was so lucky for me. I grew to love her and I grew to respect her....Mimi was truly a unique person, in so many ways. Mimi taught me so much. Mimi was very smart, and she was so good at what she did. Mimi was a people person and all the donors and the staff at RIBC adored her. Mimi called herself an N.R.N.
(not a real nurse)....but let me tell you this, Mimi could keep up with the best of us! Over the years we became good friends. We supported each other through many trials and tribulations. And for that I am so grateful. There we so many good times that we shared with so much laughter and joy. Day trips to Newport, stuffing our faces with sea food, having a few brews, walking and shopping and just having good girlfriend time. We went to the beach, we went to Boston and I will never forget our 2 rafting trips, Maine and Montreal! Mimi had such a zest for life, Mimi shared her wisdom! Mimi was a true friend and a loyal friend. My memories are very fond and too numerous to mention here.
I am so sorry that I was not able to be in R.I. for her funeral service.
May the love that you have in your hearts, grow with each passing day. May your love, take away your sadness. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
Mimi, me sweet friend, may your soul rest in peace, cradled in the arms of angels............miss you so much...
My condolence to the family and I am glad that our lives had a chance to cross in life.
Auntie Mimi you will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss. Ellen, Barbara, and Mike our thoughts and prayers are with you. The Williams family.(Janice, Michele, and Gloria
....may love be your borrowed strength, your quiet comfort, your healing hope. With deepest sympathy. Bonnie&Marc Jaffe
