I worked with Dr Fazleev as a work-study student in the Dept of Physics at UTA from 1999-2000. He was one of the most gracious and kindest people I have ever known. He helped make me feel at home in the Dept of Physics as I was an outsider, being a student of the College of Liberal Arts. He always had a kind word and a warm smile for me when he would come into the office and he would often entertain my crazy ideas about Physics. My best memory of him was his graciousness in helping me get through College Algebra. I struggled with Math my entire life and that course was no different, he saw me struggling one day and getting frustrated with some homework and he told me to go to his office and he sat and helped me and continued to help me the rest of the semester. I'll never forget him.
