Blessings to the Neomi Lancaster Scarborough Kavanaugh Family, Mrs. Kavanaugh is such a beautiful soul. She was my co-worker at Lucas Elementary for nine years. I Thank God for allowing her to cross my path; Remembering you all in prayer.

My prayers and sympathies to Mrs. Kavanaugh's family. She was my second grade teacher at Edwards Elementary, 1965-66. She was a wonderful teacher with discipline, humor, and love for her students. I remember when it rained and we could not go out to PE, she would get out the big, red plastic 33 and 1/3 record and do the exercises with us following the instructions on the record. She came to my second grade birthday slumber party and had cake and stayed awhile. All of us second grade girls were thrilled but not surprised. There are many more great memories of Mrs. Kavanaugh and her love for her students.
We were blessed to have her in our lives. God bless her family.

Mrs. Kavanaugh was my favorite teacher. I was in her second grade class at Edwards Elementary. She inspired me to become a teacher. She always made learning fun! We will all miss her.

Mrs. Kavanaugh was my very favorite teacher. I was in her second grade class at Edwards Elementary. She made going to school fun! She inspired me to want to become a teacher and when I grew up I became a second grade teacher, too. I taught for 29 years and hope that just maybe one of my students will remember me as fondly as I remember her. I know we will all miss her.
