Dear Mona & Family......I am hoping you receive this as I've just learned of Norman's passing & my condolance to the family. I have only found out that Norman is the brother of my grandfather Arthur Maitland Currie. I have been trying to learn more about my mother's family since her passing six years ago. If you'd like to correspond with me my email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd very much like to learn more on the Currie family. Sincerely Susan
Sorry to hear of your passing best to your family
Dear Mona, Joan, Janet & Jamie-
I saw the obituary in the Globe & Mail and immediately recognized Norm's face. It brought back many fond memories from 50 years ago in Thorncrest Village when I babysat for your family. I celebrated my 13th birthday at your cottage, and remember Norm's help with my elected school work on The Mysore Project. (I was in Mysore last year for a wedding and thought of all of you then)
You are remembered as a lovely family. I'm happy to hear Mona that you celebrated 63 years of marriage together, and to learn of Norm's many accomplishments.
I have been living in Unionville, On for the past 32 years, married, with 2 children, 31 & 28. You would be interested to know that my 92 year old mom (Marg) lives nearby in an assisted living centre in Markham. My dad (Harvey) passed away in 1990.
Big hugs to all of you......
Laurel (Turnbull) Chivers
Dear Jamie and Family,
We were sorry to hear of your father's passing. I hope you feel comforted and strengthened by your loving family and friends. God Bless,
I was saddened to hear about Norm's passing. Wilma and I enjoyed our visits
with you in West Vancouver and at your cottage with our then-young grandchildren.
May the love and support of family and friends comfort you.
