Mrs Nicolay, Michele and family - I am very sorry for you loss of such a charismatic man who was so enthusiastic about people and things that he encountered. I am so happy that I have met Mr Nicolay in Delft. We remembered and celebrated the Dutch Liberation on the 5th of May 1945 by the Allied which we do yearly in Holland by 1 minute of silence. I wish you strength, hope, courage, love and patience untill time makes you smile when you remember him. Lucas (from Holland)

My thoughts are with you.
Dear Mrs Nicolay, paul, michelle, adam and ,of course, phil
Words cannot express the loss i feel for one of the greatest "dads" Ive ever met.
He was a dad to one of my best friends in high school and his wit, humor ,laughter, expressions and mantra of life was second to none ! You guys and he are in our thoughts and prayers
He was one of the best and although we have lost him his memory will never be forgotten
Father mentor friend who brought happyness to all whom had the chance to know him and share a memorable evening of food drinks and laughter
Dear Pat, Phillip, Paul, Michelle, Adam and your families,
I have the warmest memories of Nick - "What a guy!" He always had a smile, usually followed by laughter, he invited conversation, and when leaving him, one felt fortunate to have shared time with him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
