My Deepest Sympathy to the family of my friend Novella. She was always there to volunteer, with me, when needed at the LBJ Library and Museum. We enjoyed our time together. We will miss her and know that her family will miss her more. Memories are there forever.

Rodger, I didn't know Novella very well, but I do know she made you very happy. We all aspire to that kind of life. You were blessed for 66 years. May your family and friends keep you fulfilled for many years to come. Marilyn Love

My condolences to all of Novella's family and friends. I was a fledgling foreign language coordinator in the Austin school district when I first met Novella at Austin High School and was immediately struck by her charm, her elegance and, above all, her intelligence. So many students have benefitted from that intelligence! If I am unable to pay my respects in person this morning it is because I am teaching, a reason that I am sure Novella would understand.
