This lovely lady was my kindergarten teacher at Burbank, 50 something years ago. She had great patience. She had to, with me and my 6 yr old buddies. God Bless You.
May God comfort you in the days ahead. Oleta was a dear friend and sister in The Lord. I taught with her at Burbank and my daughter, Valerie was in her 1st grade class in 1969. She was a great teacher and mentor to me when I was teaching. I will always cherish the many fond memories I have of our times together.

I am proud to say that Mrs. Hatchett was my 1st and 3rd grade teacher at Burbank. She was caring, committed, encouraging, and was one of my earliest influences to become an educator. I retired 2 years ago, and when I reflect on my mentors, she always comes to mind. God bless you, Tom, and your family. Your mother was one of a kind.
Hatchett family, we remember your mother with the fondest memories. We are so sorry for your loss, she was a wonderful woman of God. We still have the book she gave Heather when she was a baby. May you always have wonderful memories of your mother. Mike and Patty Crews (we used to live next door).
We grieve with you over your great loss while also rejoicing in Oleta's eternal gain. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. May the kind thoughts of your many friends make your grief a little easier to bear and may the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead. She was so very special; an inspiration to all who knew her.
