Peggy Jean Ramsey

Dear Ramsey Family,

What can we say? We will always remember dear Peggy as energetic, determined and so so kind.

I remember first starting at TSL and working around the old Surgical floor and being terrified! Peggy was there with a smile and encouragement that I will never forget. I only hope I have been the same kind of person for someone else as Peggy was to me.

Peggy will be sorely missed but what good memories!

Dear Julie and Family,

I am sorry that Natalie and I will not be able to attend the memorial service.
I am so thankful for Peggy's part in my life. She was so strong (not to mention headstrong) and determined to make the Operating Room and her staff at TSL on par with the best hospitals in the East Valley.

We worked together for almost 16 years and I considered her to be a friend, not a boss. She was considerate, just, and fair and a confidant.

My only wish for Peggy was that she would have slowed down and enjoyed life more before her stroke. I remember having that discussion more than once with her and she would just laugh, and say,"I like work!"

We both liked our Scotch and have had more than one with each other. I will raise a glass "with three fingers worth" to her memory.

She was a Texan through and through. I will miss her.
