Uncle Pete -
There are so many things I remember about the summers I spent at your home in Metuchen. I always looked forward to spending the time in the ‘country’. I remember Aunt Marie waking us up at the crack of dawn, opening the blinds and shouting “rise and shine”. The days were full of fun swimming in your pool, riding bikes, going to Bobby’s ball games and so much more. I can still see you lying on the floor in your living room watching Disney on your color T.V. and how thrilled you were with your Tweeters and Wolfers. You were always such fun to be with, that’s why it was so sad to see how you hurt after Bobby died. I know now that you, Aunt Marie, Bobby and all our family are together and smiling, laughing and having a wonderful time. You had such courage the past year, I will miss you and I will think of you everyday.

Love you, Laura

Good-bye, old friend. I'm going to miss you. I'll always remember growing up with you as my best friend's dad. And, when Bobby was taken at the young age of fourteen, you became my best friend. We painted houses together, put a roof on my dad's house, and did every repair job owning a house requires. You taught me how to do so many things, but, most important, to clean up the mess afterwards. I remember you telling me Marie didn't mind you tearing up the house fixing something because you would always clean up. I follow that simple rule to this day and always think of you when I'm doing it. Tell Bobby and Marie I said hi.
Love, Paul
