My deepest sympathy to the Downey family. Phil was such a blessing to have crossed paths with. I will remember always, the support and insight he offered to me and to so many. I feel lucky and proud to have known him, and have missed him dearly since he moved...I will keep on missing him till we meet again.
Phil, what can I say? You were the best listener a girl could have. You made me think about life, in a different way. You got Joe and I together. For that I am grateful. You, also got me out of trouble a few times ;) You are a shining light. When you walked into Heaven, I can see Ray saying where the hell have you been? :) Rest Now Phil, you deserve it. Much love, Brandy and Joe
Agnes and family, I am so sorry for the loss and so thankful for his service to our country. My families thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Phil- one of the greatest and most genuine people I have ever met, I was lucky to have had the privilege to know you and share a beer or two with you. Thank you for all you did and who you were. You touched my heart and I can still hear your laugh and see your smile. I hope you and Ray are sharing a beer and telling some good tales. Love you.
Phil, Now more than ever I wish I was as eloquent as you. You never ceased to amaze me with your kindness, incredible stories, and and your loyalty to country, community, and friends. I'm proud to have known you and to call you a friend. Be at peace buddy!
