I will always have fond memories of Tio Moncho from when I first met him while dating his niece Rochelle up until the last time I saw him which was 3 days before his passing. A gentle caring man who loved life and his family. He was ready to leave this world though. When Rochelle told him that everyone was praying for him, he said "that's the problem; we're keeping him here". My last words to him were hurry up and get out of here (the hospital) so we can play ping pong again; going back to those early years at their home in San Gabriel where he was a protective father to my wife Rochelle while we were dating. I am comforted that he is at peace and reunited with the love of his life Emilia.
We all send our love and happy memories of Tio Moncho to all our family members, Noel, Ruth, Perrin, and Naya.
