Sorry for your loss. He has gone to be with his father God to help prepare a place for others.
Ray I miss you and sorry I had to find out this way but I've been looking for you hoping to reunite after this long drought. Me living in Phx and you somewhere else it wasn't easy. We have alot of great memories from our Marine days in San Diego as well as Vietnam and a couple in Memphis. I have a picture I took of you back in San Diego that I'm looking at now. I loved you and know your at peace. You was always good to me. Your friend Jerry Novarese
Ray was a Brother Veteran, Brother Pipeliner, Brother Teamster and a Brother Christian...... Ray was a Great Man.... His Attitude & Powerful Smile helped many see Life in a different light and become better people!
Ray was the 1st Vietnam Veteran ~ Teamster to use the Helmets to Hardhats program to enter the Pipeline Industry. Ray parked his Teamster's Freight pension and with the help of Richard Stern, Lewis Smith, John Hudson, Roger Kennedy, Danny Vincent and Henkles & McCoy, Ray started his new career and excelled to become a Company LowBoy driver in record time!
I knew Ray personally, he was my step daughter's Melissa Wood Miller 's Father In Law.
